well my swim meet this last saturday went well... eveyone chose three strokes out of freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly. i chose breast, back, and free. there was one relay of free that you are in even if you didnt choose the freestyle stroke i think. the other strokes you chose you raced agaisnt some other ppl your age... it didnt matter if they were on your team or not but they put you in whichever race they did.
well in those races they ALSO timed you, and then later during the wk the reults of the TIMES were posted on the YMCAs wall, and in one of the strokes i had the 6th best time out of everyone my age racing, the other 9th, and the other 12th(tho the 12th might have been the relay... hm one of them strokes i didnt see on there cause the way they set it up was really confusing.) but that is pretty good i guess because this is my first meet EVER!! yay so im happy about that. lol.
